Vehicle valuation by computer (car, TRP, GLW, KRAD)
We determine the following values for cars, vans up to 3.5 t (without special bodies) as well as motorcycles and off-road vehicles, depending on their intended use:
- Dealer purchase value (TCV)
- Dealer sales value (HVK)
- replacement value (WBW)
In this service, all vehicle details are recorded and carefully documented with the help of EDP. All value-relevant factors are checked, documented in a comprehensible manner and taken into account in terms of value:
- General vehicle data (such as model, first registration, mileage)
- Standard and optional equipment
- Value increasing factors (like AT-aggregates, value increasing repairs)
- Necessary repairs (such as damage, wear and tear of safety-related and other parts, missing inspections)
- Missing parts (such as removed or dismantled standard accessories, incomplete on-board tools)
- Decrease in value from previous damage (repaired accident damage)
The vehicle is subjected to a critical inspection of the interior, engine and trunk as well as the body including a check of the underside with the chassis. We also check the function of equipment parts and test the vehicle during a test drive.
Service for lease returns
We determine the condition of cars, vans up to 3.5 t (without special bodies) as well as motorcycles and off-road vehicles for you.
If the condition of a vehicle deviates from the standard due to damaged parts or accident damage, the EDP condition report is used to clarify the extent to which necessary repairs or previous accidents contribute to the reduction in value.
This service is designed in particular to process transactions for lease returns with a contract in which a residual value has been firmly agreed and only factors that increase or decrease in value need to be taken into account.
We document the following facts:
- General vehicle data (such as version, first registration, mileage)
- Standard and special equipment
- Value-increasing factors (such as AT units, value-increasing repairs)
- Necessary repairs (such as damage, wear of safety-relevant and other parts, missing inspections)
- Missing parts (such as removed or dismantled standard accessories, incomplete on-board tools)
- depreciation from previous damage (repaired accident damage)
Your vehicle will be subjected to a critical examination of the interior, engine and trunk as well as the body including inspection of the underside with chassis. In addition, we check the function of equipment parts and undertake a short driving test (i.D.R. on the premises). The EDP-controlled condition report thus contains almost the same scope of services as a vehicle valuation, but only the lower values are shown. The purchase, sales or replacement value is not determined in this process.
Various factors are taken into account in the valuation process
DEKRA evaluates your commercial vehicles with IT support. These factors are taken into account:

- Replacement value (also as part of a damage appraisal if the 70 % limit is reached: repair costs / replacement value)
For vehicles that deviate significantly from the series, the assessment is prepared individually.
